Kenneth C. Griffin, Co-Founder
Mr. Griffin is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Citadel LLC, one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers and securities dealers.
Mr. Griffin is an active supporter of causes that drive community improvement. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Chicago Public Education Fund, and is a member of the Board of Trustees for both the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Mr. Griffin is a member of numerous organizations including the World Economic Forum, G100, and the Economic Club of Chicago.
Mr. Griffin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard College. |

Anne Dias Griffin, Co-Founder
Ms. Anne Dias Griffin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aragon Global Management. Prior to founding Aragon in 2001, Ms. Anne Dias Griffin managed investments for Viking Global Investors. Previously she was a portfolio manager at Soros Fund Management. She started her career at Goldman Sachs.
Ms. Anne Dias Griffin is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. She serves as a trustee of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Children’s Memorial Hospital, and the Museum of Modern Art.
Ms. Anne Dias Griffin is a native of France and has lived in Germany, England, and Belgium. |

Min S. Lee, Director of Philanthropic Initiatives
Min Lee joined Kenneth and Anne Griffin as an advisor on their philanthropic endeavors in 2008. He has served as Director of Philanthropic Initiatives for The Kenneth and Anne Griffin Foundation since 2009. Inspired by his formal training in economics, Mr. Lee utilizes a quantitative evaluation process to assess potential funding recipients, and to monitor current grantees.
Mr. Lee grew up in South Korea and Argentina. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cambridge in England and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. |
